Visitor Guidelines and Policies
We strive to ensure the best possible experience for all visitors at Old Mission Santa Barbara and look forward to welcoming you!
Visitor Guidelines:
Tour Route: There is a one-way flow of movement through the self-guided tour. Upon ticket purchase, you will be provided with a map and there will be arrows to guide you. QR codes providing written and audio information in both English and Spanish are also available throughout the tour route. To exit, please proceed through the last museum room into our Gift Shop.
Restrooms: There are no restrooms available on the tour route. Please use the restrooms located out front before entering the line to buy tour tickets. If you need to exit the tour early for any reason, please exit through the Museum and do not back track on the route.
Food and Drink: No food or drinks are allowed inside the Mission, whether shopping in the Gift Shop or on the tour route. We want you to enjoy the snacks and drinks provided, but please enjoy them on the front grounds or at the picnic area by the parking lot.
Pet Policy: No pets are allowed on the tour route - service animals only.

Parking
Free parking is available on a first come first served basis in the Mission’s spacious front parking lot off Los Olivos Street during open hours.
