The El Camino Real Bell is an icon of California Mission history.
Twenty-one missions line the coast of California, stretching from San Diego up to Sonoma. The El Camino Real, or the Kings Road, marked the original route taken to travel to the California Missions. In 1906, the El Camino Real bell was created to mark and commemorate this road. Seen along most of the California 101 freeway, these bells have come to symbolize Mission history and legacy. This charming El Camino Real Bell replica is made of brass with carved detail on the base and bell. Makes a great gift for California history buffs.
