About Our Facilities
A cathedral ceiling, large fireplace, rich wood paneling, and Malibu tile create a warm and charming ambiance. The Friar's Lounge, located off of the St. Francis courtyard, provides a unique atmosphere. 2,280 square feet - 38' x 60' with a maximum capacity of 150.
Light and airy, the Bonaventure Hall features a new media center with a 60" television and wireless internet access. A small kitchenette and access to the St. Francis courtyard make this a comfortable meeting space. 1,824 square feet - 38' x 48' with a maximum capacity of 130.
This cozy gathering space features the Duns Scotus Library, comfortable seating, and carpeted floor and is wheel-chair accessible. Clare's Place is tucked away off the fountain courtyard. 1,130 square feet in an "L" shape configuration with a maximum capacity of 35.
The beautiful Serra Chapel, dedicated in 1958 and once the chapel for friars attending the seminary school that was part of Old Mission Santa Barbara, offers guests a place for private prayer and group liturgies. Maximum capacity of 154.
Group retreats have 61 guest rooms with dormitory-style restrooms available. Each room includes a full-size or two twin-size beds, a sink, a desk and chair, and fresh linens and towels.
To promote an atmosphere of solitude and reflection, guest rooms are not equipped with telephones or televisions.
Private Retreat Rooms
The Serra Wing has 12 rooms with beautiful courtyard views, full-size beds, and private 1/2 baths with showers shared between two rooms.
Delicious buffet-style meals are served for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Guests may eat in the dining room or on the patio.
Adjacent to the Dining Room, the patio overlooks the St. Francis courtyard and Serra Chapel.
